White Street Pier in Key West
The pier on White Street is a focal point for the local Key community and stretches quite a long way into the Atlantic Ocean. If you keep your eyes open and look around, you can usually spot some really big groups of fish swimming by. We certainly did when we came here last summer and once we knew where to look, they seemed to be everywhere. Lots of people were fishing on the end of the pier and catching things like snappers. We just sat on a bench and enjoyed the views and the refreshing ocean breeze.

Yummy Key Lime Pie
The city's award-winning Key Lime Pie has become a particular speciality in Key West and is really just one of many tasty local pies. Any of them are worth tasting and having a slice or two. Go on, you are on holiday...!

Key West Butterflies and the Nature Conservatory
The Nature Conservatory is close to Duval Street and a wonderful place to come if you like butterflies. They were so big and such pretty colors, and they fluttered all around us - it was lovely. There were even birds and other creatures on the floor.
